The secret of the production process of carbonated beverages, the control of CO2 flow is inseparable from it

Release Time:2021-08-25 Reading Volume:0

As a classic representative of carbonated beverages, Coca-Cola has been enduring in the market and is loved by people worldwide. The unique taste of carbonated drinks is due to the addition of carbon dioxide. After the beverage enters the stomach, with the discharge of carbon dioxide, it takes away the heat from the human body and has a cool and comfortable feeling. Therefore, carbonated beverages are the best cold drinks in midsummer.

How are carbonated drinks made?

So how is carbon dioxide input into carbonated beverages, and how is the gas flow control performed? Carbonated beverages need to use equipment in the manufacturing process, called a carbonated beverage preparation machine. This equipment is characterized by a container containing liquid, a fluid pipeline connecting the container and an air inlet pipeline, and a gas cylinder containing high-pressure carbon dioxide gas. After the carbonization pump pressurizes the filtered water, it is thoroughly cooled through the coil in the ice water tank. It then enters the carbonization cylinder to mix with carbon dioxide to form carbonated water. The carbonated water is pushed by the high-pressure CO2 in the carbonization cylinder to the valve head for proportional distribution to produce carbonated beverages. The carbonated beverage preparation machine is provided with a fluid pressure reducing valve, which can quickly reduce the pressure of the carbonated beverage containing space to a predetermined pressure value to take out the carbonated beverage in the containing space.

Intelligent Digital Display Gas Mass Flowmeter

Portable Gas Mass Flow Meter

In the production process of carbonated beverages, the flow rate of the gas cylinder that provides carbon dioxide needs to be regulated. Otherwise, excessive carbon dioxide will produce a large amount of foam. Generally, manufacturers use portable gas mass flow meters to monitor the flow of CO2 gas delivered by beverage preparation machines.

The latest AMS2106 intelligent digital gas mass flow meter developed by Guangzhou Aosong Electronics Co., Ltd. has the characteristics of high sensitivity, flexible output mode, and high stability in the full range.

Platinum Chip, High Precision and High Stability

Aosong Electronics is a MEMS IDM company and has been deeply involved in MEMS smart sensors for nearly 20 years. With its rich experience, it independently developed the MEMS flow sensor chip used in AMS2106. Some of its materials are made of precious metal platinum. Due to the high stability of platinum, the chips made with it have long-term solid stability and long service life. The product range ratio has reached 50:1, with reasonable accuracy in the full range.

Quick Response and High Sensitivity

The AMS2106 adopts thermal mass flow measurement without the customer's additional temperature and pressure compensation, which ensures the high-precision calculation of the flowmeter, high sensitivity, and can keenly perceive the minimal starting flow rate and start the calculation. The product can display instantaneous and cumulative flow, which is convenient for users to view, supports the measurement of multiple gases, and allows customers to perform on-site calibration of some special gases. The product has two modes of battery power supply and external power supply, which will not impact the data when switching.

Can Detect a Variety of Gases, a Wide Range of Applications

In addition to monitoring CO2, the AMS2106 gas mass flowmeter can also monitor various dry, clean, non-corrosive gases such as air, nitrogen, oxygen, and argon. The scope of application is also vast. It applies to various fields such as industrial gas monitoring, medical oxygen monitoring, nitrogen filling of food packaging, mask machine gas monitoring, pharmaceutical and laboratory gas flow ratio.
